Wasp Trap

To limit wasp nests in your yard, set traps in the early spring when the queen wasps are looking for nesting sites and the worker wasps are looking for protein. Traps can remain effective throughout the summer and fall season.

Start with a base of water and a little liquid soap. In spring, add a little bit of cooked meat or grease. In summer and fall, try a little vinegar or jam.
