About this item

  • Boosts Colony Productivity and Health - Formulated for optimal honeybee health. Our new high performance pollen patty comprises 15% natural, real US pollen and total minimum protein content of 15.5%. Each patty also includes a high concentration of the HiveAlive supplement shown in trials to increase bee gut health, brood & honey production and help colonies keep strong especially for overwintering.
  • Safe, Natural Ingredients for Brood Rearing - No animal protein. 15% real USA pollen and 15.5% total protein. Complete range of essential amino acids, trace minerals for healthy colonies. Get all the benefits of HiveAlive in a high concentration (1 tsp per patty). The added seaweed extracts provide concentrated micronutrients for extra nutritional value.
  • To use, gently smoke the bees down and place a patty directly over the frames as close to brood as possible (never under the colony) with the perforated paper side facing down. The bees will remove the paper as needed to access the patty.
  • While these pollen patties are most needed in spring to boost colony health and strength, they can be fed later in the summer and early fall, particularly when there is a shortage of pollen. For optimal results, ensure there is a carbohydrate source such as nectar, or sugar syrup with HiveAlive added available. Any patties you don’t use can be frozen for future use.
  • Do not use pollen patties in the winter! Pollen stimulates brood rearing and should only be applied in early spring or late summer when pollen is not present. For winter feed, consider Winter Patties.
  • Manufactured in the USA.
